Gwenyth Fugard (b. 1955, Whangarei) is a London-based visual artist from New Zealand whose practice explores the interplay of materiality and process. Her paintings function as self-contained worlds, tracing the evolution of their own making. Rather than abstracting from external references, her non-representational works are inherently self-reflexive, distilling their own essence.
